Amanda’s Bio

Amanda treats individuals, couples, and families ages 7 and older and specializes in the treatment of addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship issues.  She collaborates with clients from a comprehensive approach to therapy through the exploration of spiritual, existential, social, emotional, and psychological aspects of life. Her integrative counseling approach utilizes solution focused therapy (focusing on strengths, resources, and coping abilities), exploring individual hierarchy of needs, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to track and understand the thoughts preceding their behaviors. Amanda is also trained in Eye-Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) and will soon be trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

In Amanda’s free time, she enjoys spending time with family, anything outdoors, cooking, and going to the gym.
